Dana Cyphert-Pate joined the Bailey’s Team as an instructor in 2003. In 2004 she took over as the Group Fitness Director of the San Jose, Orange Park and Westside locations. Now Dana is the General Manager of Group Fitness.Dana brings to Bailey’s over 18 years of experience in the Fitness Industry. She holds several certifications, including AFAA Primary and Precision Cycle. Dana teaches many different formats of Group Fitness from Aqua, Step, Pilates and Yoga to Power Pump. Dana has been happily married for 10 years and has 3 children. In her spare time, Dana enjoys training for and competing in Triathalons. Her latest achievement was completing her first Ironman in Arizona. The Ironman consisted of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike race and a 26.2 mile run.
Michelle Wilkerson
Michelle Wilkersonis the Group Fitness Director for theMandarin location.She has worked in the Health and Fitness Industry for 14 years and has been employed at Bailey’s since 2000. Michelle’s credentials include; AFAA Certifications in both Aerobics and Kickboxing, Reebok Step, Power Flex, Yoga Fitness and Reebok Cycle. Michelle has a B.A. in Business Administration and credentials in Elementary Education. Michelle loves working with members to meet their fitness goals. She also takes great pride in instilling a love of fitness and healthy living in children.Michelle has two children.
Cindy Fairchild
Cindy Fairchild is the Group Fitness Director for the Baymeadows and San Jose Locations.She has worked for Bailey’s as an Instructor for four years.Her credentials include AFAA certification in Aerobics Choreography, Group Fitness, Yoga Essentials, Pilates, Telefitness and she is currently pursuing her Personal Training Certification through NASM.Cindy teaches many formats which include Step, Cycle, Bosu, Power Pump, Pilates and Interval Training.Cindy’s goal in the fitness industry is to spread her passion for keeping fit through group fitness and personal training.
Outside of the gym Cindy has trained for and completed the MS-150 two years in a row.Fitness has been an important part of Cindy’s life for many years and she claims it has kept her young both mentally and physically.She has been married for 27 years and has two children both of whom attend UCF.
Donna Vona
Donna Vona is the Group Fitness Director for the Jax Beach & Atlantic Beach locations. Donna has been teaching group fitness classes for 15 years and has been an employee of Bailey's for 11 years. She is certified by AFAA; Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, ACE and Fitour in Primary Group Exercise, Step, Kickboxing, Personal Training, RAMPing, Pilates and Matflex. Donna also holds certifications in Spinning, BOSU and ZUMBA. She has worked as an AFAA Examiner and trained many new instructors to take the AFAA Primary in order to teach for Bailey’s. Donna loves teaching Group Fitness and feels lucky to have been able to make a career out of it.
Donna feels most people lose interest in working out because they get bored, get stale or stop seeing results…and her philosophy is to shake it up! Donna's approach to Group Fitness is simple- Keep it interesting and fresh, and they will come back for more!
Personally, Donna has been married for 20 years and has two grown daughters. She loves to travel, read and get out on the beach with her dog.
Tara Murray
Tara Murray is the Group Fitness Director for the Orange Park and Westside locations.Tara has been working in the fitness industry since 1992. She is a graduate of Penn State with a B.S. in Exercise and Sports Science, and is also a graduate from UNF with a Master's of Public Health. She is still working on obtaining her second Master's Degree from UNF in Nutrition.
Tara is also a certified trainer through ACE and American Training Professionals. She has been personal training since 1996.
Tara has also participated in many races and has completed five marathons.
When not at work, Tara loves to spend time with her two daughters, Emily and Becka.
Arlene Ancelet
Arlene is the Group Fitness Director for the Merrill Road Location. Arlene joined the Baileys instructor team in 2007, and shortly after accepted the director position at the Merrrill location. She has been in the fitness industry for 20 years, has held numerous certs throughout the years in both group fitness and personal training. She has taught High Low, Step, Kickboxing, Aqua, Silver Sneakers, Bodypump, Cycling and Bootcamp.
She has three gorgeous sons, one of whom is currently serving overseas in the U.S. Navy. At present, she is studying Court Reporting. Her hobbies include trailriding and road cycling and just hanging out at the beach.
Christina Warren
Christina is the Group Fitness Director for the Brunswick location. A fitness and exercise enthusiast her entire life, Christina joined Baileys just in time for the Brunswick location grand opening in 2007. Over the past 15 years, Christina has enjoyed a wide variety of fitness activities including working out at the gym, teaching cycle and group fitness, softball, track and field, mountain biking, basketball, jet-skiing, snow skiing and hiking. An AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor with additional certifications in SPINNING, Kickboxing, Zumba, Bosu and Les Mills Body Pump, Christina is passionate in educating people about fitness and the importance of staying physically active with balance eating habits. Her motto is “Don’t just teach exercise, create an adventure.” She believes that is what fitness professionals do – they create adventures, encouraging people to join the fun and helping participants safely reach their goals. Outside of the gym, Christina holds degrees in Business Management and Computer Technology and has 8 years of Public Relations experience as Director of Marketing for an International Advertising and Marketing firm. This year, Christina completed two big her goals, training for and completing her first sprint triathlon and competing in her first figure modelcompetition.
Rona Bennett
Rona is the Group Fitness Director for the Gainesville location. Rona graduated from The University of Florida (Exercise & Sport Sciences) and has worked at the club five years. Although known to most members as the yoga and Pilates teacher, many are surprised to learn she is also a professional belly dancer and the coordinator of Gainesville Farhannah Dance Troupe. She is an avid cyclist, commuting by bike and spending past summers bicycle touring in Alaska, Canada, and Europe. Gator fans might find it interesting to know that Rona was contracted to teach yoga to the football team during their National Championship season. In the photo she is seen with her Frisbee catching black lab Makola.
